Mommy's drink

The other day we were driving in the car and Hailey said something out of nowhere that was so funny to me. She said , "I can't wait to be a mommy so I can drink Diet Coke." I could not stop laughing. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. It is good that she thinks she can't have it till she is a mommy. But it is obviously a bad thing that she knows I drink a lot of Diet Coke. If she only knew how much I needed it some days. But I guess she will get it when she is a mommy.

"Mommy we are watching the rain"

I was doing something one night and suddenly realized that it was strangely quiet in the house. So I went searching for everyone and found them in the garage. Hailey looked at me and said, "Mommy we are watching the rain". So cute! Bryce used to do this when he was little and I think may of had more fun than them. These our times that I love having a cute little family.

I went to wake up Cara one day and found this. When I put her down I forgot to put her pants on, I just love how the diaper is just sitting there right next to her. I just started laughing and tip-toed out of her room to get the camera. I just had to get a picture of this. This is the picture that she will beg me to not show to her boyfriends, oh but I will. You just gotta love the rolls she has, and that is the cutest bum ever.

Merry late Christmas

I know Christmas was a few weeks ago but I am not as on top of this blog thing as most people. Anyways the McKell family had a great Christmas and I had to put these pictures on my blog. Hailey was so excited for this Christmas and couldn't wait for Santa to bring her presents. She knew exactly what she wanted Santa to bring her. She told me everyday, she would see tv toy commercials and say "Santa's going to bring that to me mommy".

Preschool Tree Trimming party

At Hailey's preschool they had a tree trimming party, which Hailey was so excited to go to. The kids made ornaments to put on the Christmas trees that are at the school. Hailey was so scared of Santa last year that we told her that he was coming to the party weeks before, so she could get used to the idea. When he walked in the room she was so excited and couldn't stand still waiting in line to sit on his lap. When Santa asked her what she wanted she said without even thinking Barbie and the Diamond Castle. After the kids saw Santa they sang Christmas songs for us and it was so cute.

My baby is one!

Cara looked so cute in her outfit for her party! Except she didn't want to cooperate and pose for me. This is the best picture I could get.

The cupcakes that I made that shocked everyone (including me)! I am not a very good at baking or cooking. They turned out cute! Thank you to my two helpers for staying up with me until 2 in the morning.
